About The Trust

Established by Richard Hampton Jenrette in 1993, Classical American Homes Preservation Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation which maintains four early-nineteenth-century sites and their remarkable collections of historic decorative and fine arts. Through careful preservation, original research, and collaborative educational programming, the Trust develops public appreciation and understanding of American architecture, landscapes and decorative arts while helping build a stronger, more resilient future for historic preservation and public history more generally.
